I’ll never forget meeting this beautiful lady at the Houston Rodeo . I was 15 and I’m 44 now. She was so beautiful and sweet and smelled real good. I got her to sign my poster because my Mexican home girl said she was a star in her community. As soon as I started to find out more about her and fall in love with her music she was gone 😢 it’s crazy at the time I didn’t know how significant that poster with her autograph would become. Because She hadn’t even won her Grammy yet its her smile that I can’t forget. It was like her smile made your soul calm. It was a light in that lady. I remember wondering why she had to go through that. I’m in Texas where there is a large Latin population. I hurt to see my Latin friends and community in this pain. I was angry for them. It’s crazy because I still don’t forgive Yolanda Satan-divar. Not only did she cheat Selena from her life and her family she cheated us her fans and the world that never got to experience her presence and her gift. I remember her funeral and they let her fans see her. She looked like a sleeping Angel not gone like she was just sleeping. Sleep in heaven peace Selena

I'm literally trying to learn Spanish by listening to selena and watching Jane the Virgin. The language is so beautiful and I'm not gonna lie, I cannot roll my tongue, and I cannot speak the words fast enough AMD be able to pronounce then correctly. Any pointers? (Also love Selena and have been listening to the same songs everyday, still haven't learned many words)
